I’m thrilled that one of my photographs (San Antonio Spanish Governor's Palace) has been selected for inclusion in the upcoming juried exhibition, MOS38: the 38th annual Members' Only Show, hosted by the Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene, Texas.

The Juror Wendi Schneider had more than 500 submissions and one of mine was in the 50 pieces selected to be on display for the exhibition.

October 23, 2025 - Exhibition opens at the Center for Contemporary Arts
December 6, 2025 - Closing Reception (time TBA) alongside Holiday Market ArtWalk in Abilene

I plan on going to the Closing Reception and hope to see you there in Abilene, Texas, my home town.

Well I am happy to have a photograph be selected for the Texas Photographic Society’s 37th Annual Members Only Show.
The image is Blue Dress which was made back in 1974 in Huntsville, Texas.
Now must get the print framed and ready to ship to Abilene before the opening at the Center for Contemporary Arts (CCA), in Abilene, Texas on November 21, 2024.
The juror was O. Rufus Lovett who was my classmate back at SHSU in the 1970’s. It will be fun to go the opening on November 21, 2024 in my hometown. I hope Rufus can make the opening as it would be grand to see him again.

The flagship exhibition, TPS 32: The International Competition, opens this Friday, 9-20-24 at the Cain Art Gallery in Corpus Christi, with an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. The Cain Art Gallery is located on the Del Mar College Heritage Campus on Ayers Street at Tompkins Street.

TPS 32, juried by María Beatriz H. Carrión, Assistant Curator of Photographs at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, continues through November 22. For more details, click below.
