Cooking for One: I have 10+ years of experience cooking for one, and after about 7
years, I realized I really needed to change how I cooked to make it work better for my needs and make it more enjoyable. Since then, I've been working with clients to make cooking for one easier, more enjoyable, and doable. There are lots of tactics that we use that are different than cooking for a family, but learning them has been life changing. I support solo cooks through free recipes online, cooking for one tips, a meal planning guide, and working with them one on one. It can be enjoyable and doable, we just need to rethink cooking for one. Eating Disorder Dietitian: I've been a dietitian for about 10 years. Pretty much since the beginning, I've realized that the traditional weight loss focus that I was taught and taught my patients/clients wasn't helpful for them. Using the framework of Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size, and my counseling skills I now work with clients to improve their relationship with food and with their bodies. This approach is more holistic, helps create life long, and adaptable habits, and reduces stress and anxiety surrounding food and body. This is helpful for clients with eating disorders, disordered eating, and anyone who wants to break away from diet culture and external expectations. Food Photography: I have been running my food blog, Nourish Nutrition for at least 6 years, and over the years have honed in my photography and video skills. I create recipes, photos, and videos for my own website, food blogger clients, and food companies. I really enjoy creating unique recipes, photos, and/or videos for clients to highlight their products and show consumers just how easily their product will fit in their life, and make it better/easier.
