So this is a new thing that I want to try this year it's a photo series with the famous elf on shelf. Traditionally, in days leading up to Christmas you set out your little Elf on Shelf and change it's position daily. It's supposed to look like the elf is moving and going on silly adventures everyday before Christmas. So I got an idea to get one of these dolls (I had to go to several stores just to find one of these things) and photograph them in different positions. I'm doing a set of 12 photos in honor of the 12 Days of Christmas. Although there's going to be 10 photos before Christmas, one photo on Christmas, and one after as a send off, so it's kind of the 12 Days of Christmas. But I hope you enjoy this and I hope it's the first of many wonderful things that I come out with in the following years. Enjoy!

So, this are some photos that I took for an assignment in my Photo Vision class at SLCC a few years ago. The assignment was to take several different photos of eggs. These were the only two I liked.

A happy birthday to my great great aunt Pauline. She is turned 100 two days and her party is tomorrow. Isn't she the classiest centenarian you've ever seen?

I am so excited to be posting these and am very pleased with how turned out. These are the photos that John and I took of our Halloween costumes. I went as the Joker and John went as Harley Quinn. I edited these in photoshop and then used filters from an app called Pixlr-O-Matic on them. A special thanks to Jez Roberts of River of Color Make-up Art for doing the make-up!
