Reason #5 All that glorious, wild, long, green grass. Now, you can get green grass in the summer time, but it’s usually manicured.

In Spring, it shows up everywhere. Like this abandoned lot. That might not seem like much of a difference to you, but every detail matters in a photo.

If you want your photos looking candid, casual, natural, and full of life, the long wild grass matters. The manicured flower gardens and lawns immediately give off a formal feel, no matter how playful you are.

If you’ve ever tried planning what you’re going to wear for a photo shoot, you’re really going to appreciate. . .
Reason #2: In Spring, it’s cool enough to be comfortable in jeans and layered shirts, and warm enough to go barefoot in a sun dress. The freedom to wear what makes you comfortable translates directly to better photos. And makes planning for them that much easier.

#1. Everything is ALIVE. And when you hang something on your wall year round, “alive” is a little more of an upper than dead. Even though autumn and winter photos are lovely. They’re still dead or dying. 😬 Spring holds that energizing power. Renewal. Hope. Life!
