I’m about a month late in posting photos of our trip to Toronto 😬

I’ve been taking a bit of a hiatus from social media lately, but it would be remiss of me if a failed to mention that I simply LOVE Canada. 🇨🇦

I keep finding myself there this year. Maybe it’s a sign, eh? 🤷🏼‍♀️💜

When I was a kid, we traveled a lot, camping everywhere we went. 🏕 We spent so much time outdoors that I began to take for granted the breathtaking landscapes that nature provides. My family still gets a chuckle when they recount me as a tween saying, “Seen one waterfall— you’ve seen them all.”

Well, I stand corrected! 😍

I had so much fun photographing this family of 7! They all showed up with so much “swagger” — wearing black T’s, flip flops, and shades. 😎

Their love for the ocean is palpable, so it was super appropriate to have their fall mini session at Cape Henlopen State Park, their favorite little beach. 🌊

I could tell they appreciate all the gifts that the ocean gives us — plastic made beautiful, glass turned to jewels, calligraphy in the sand — but most importantly, memories made!! 📸
Next time I plan on capturing them fishing! 🎣

I love Canada 🇨🇦

For our Honeymoon, some people were surprised that we’d decided to go to Vancouver, rather than somewhere tropical—but my heart is happiest in the mountains ⛰

We had the time of our lives! 🤗

November 4th-8th we are visiting Toronto! I plan on doing a lot of street photography, but I would also LOVE to photograph some locals! ❤️

Last week I got to explore the National Arboretum with this gal. 🌺

Becca is one of those rare people. She is feisty and radiant— full of courage, sincerity, and self respect. She’s one of the strongest souls I’ve ever met. 💪🏼

She’s true to herself because she knows that “every girl must decide whether to settle for adoration, or fight for love.” She’s fiercely independent, but she loves with her whole heart. ❤️

Lydia & William booked the first fall mini session with me 🎃

These two have a very special bond. I love seeing mommas embrace their kids for the little humans that they are ❤️

I’m still learning so much about photography, but as I’m learning, these families are teaching me things too— like how to wander, notice, laugh, love, rest, and just breathe 🍁
