🇺🇸 One of America's greatest comeback stories is still being written.

During the nation's Bicentennial 50 years ago, the bald eagle was near extinction. Today, thanks to dedicated conservation efforts by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and many others, this iconic symbol of freedom has made an incredible recovery and can once again be found In Ohio, especially along Lake Erie.

As we celebrate our June theme of Ohio Outdoors, we hope you're spending time outside and discovering the wildlife and natural beauty that make Ohio extraordinary.
