Old Film Negatives? Bring Your Memories Back to Life!

Do you have boxes, envelopes, or collections of old photographic negatives that haven’t been seen in years?

At Digitizing Family Film, I specialize in converting film negatives of various sizes, both color and black-and-white, into high-quality digital photographs.

Those old negatives may contain priceless family memories, vacations, weddings, childhood moments, and photographs you haven’t seen in decades!

Using professional film-scanning equipment, I carefully digitize your negatives, capturing the detail of the original images while making adjustments to color, brightness, and contrast when needed.

Whether you have a few negative strips or an entire collection spanning generations, I take pride in preserving your photographs with the care and attention they deserve.

Don’t let your family’s memories remain hidden on old film negatives!

Bring those forgotten photographs back to life so they can be viewed, shared, and enjoyed for generations to come.

Grandpa days at Digitizing Family Film ❤️

I’ll admit, I don’t get quite as much work done when this little visitor stops by the shop… but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Most days I’m busy preserving other families’ memories — old home movies, VHS tapes, film reels, photos, slides, cassettes and more. Days like this are a pretty good reminder of why those memories matter so much.

If you have boxes of family memories sitting around that you’ve been meaning to preserve, give me a call or send me a message.

Don’t throw away old family film just because it has mold.

Mold can damage film and tapes over time, but in many cases, those memories can still be saved. At Digitizing Family Film, we work with old family movies and convert them into modern digital files so they can be watched, shared, and preserved for future generations.

If you find old film reels, VHS, VHS-C, Hi8, Digital8, MiniDV, or other family recordings that have been sitting in storage for years, bring them to us before the damage gets worse.

Your family memories may be more salvageable than you think.

📍 Serving customers throughout Oregon and beyond. We’ve heard from families all over the region after they discovered our videos and learned that their old recordings may still be preserved.

🎥 Still Have MiniDV Tapes? Don’t Let Those Memories Disappear!

MiniDV tapes were incredibly popular from the late 1990s through the early 2010s and captured birthdays, vacations, graduations, holidays, family gatherings, and everyday life before phones replaced camcorders. Many of these tapes are now sitting in drawers and boxes slowly aging over time.

At Digitizing Family Film, we professionally convert your MiniDV tapes to digital files so you can easily watch, share, and preserve them for future generations. No shipping needed if you’re local — simply bring your tapes to our West Salem studio.

Just finished digitizing another batch of APS / Kodak Advantix film canisters! These were extremely popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and a lot of families still have boxes of these memories tucked away in drawers and storage bins.

At Digitizing Family Film, we professionally scan APS / Advantix film in high quality with attention to color, orientation, and detail so your memories can be preserved and shared again. We do a LOT of these and the image quality has been turning out fantastic!

Don’t let your memories stay trapped in old film canisters.
Family photos, vacations, birthdays, holidays, and everyday life moments can all be brought back to life digitally.
