Still can’t get over my niece’s senior session. We laughed so much and had the best time just hanging out and taking photos. Can’t believe she’s graduating after this year, where did the time go?? Class of 2026, you’re all growing up too fast

I believe the most common misconception clients have when booking a photographer is assuming that we all provide the same service.

In reality, every photographer has their own unique style—whether it's dark and moody, light and airy, or somewhere in between. Some photographers prefer natural light, while others employ artificial lighting techniques. Additionally, some work exclusively in a studio, while others operate on location. Before booking a photographer, it's crucial to identify the style you desire. Take the time to research by examining the photographer's portfolio to ensure you get precisely what you want.

I also suggest a meeting (virtual or in-person) with your photographer to make sure you're both a good fit before you book. Most professional photographers will let you know if what you're describing isn't what they offer because it's important for us to stay on brand as well so we might decline taking you on as a client but will refer you to others who might be a better fit.

I had such a lovely time photographing their wedding day. I'm so glad they decided to do a first look before the ceremony. It was such a precious moment full of laughter and happy tears.

It's been a long winter but we are finally getting some nice weather and I miss outdoor photography sessions so much!
