My May is full of amazing families that I get to laugh with and share joy 🤍 I’m going to be real for a minute so many of you can feel seen. I see joy in these and so much love and tiny smiles that melt my heart. But there was lots of tears and “no’s” and fighting during this session. It happens! It’s going to happen. And these parents remained grounded and we worked together to be calm and still when needed and fast and in action when needed. You might have a vision in your head of how your session is going to look but you must absolutely be willing to pivot when you have tiny children with big emotions. I’m saying this because I myself have struggled with my own family photos! I have had my patience run to the ground in the past with my own kids and them not smiling or listening and it can be defeating because you so badly just want smiling, happy photos! I don’t mean to toot my own horn so loudly, but when you book with me, I promise you will get someone who is going to be patient, who handles children pretty well and their meltdowns, who is going to pivot, and who 99% of the time WILL get some smiles and deliver to you some beautiful photos. I couldn’t wait to get home and edit these and show these parents what I captured to say “see! I did get happiness and smiles” and I hope they felt some relief looking through these and also, joy, because their family is precious and even if the children were being stubborn, we did have a successful photoshoot 🤭🥰 The baby fell asleep at the end and it just melted me. Thank you for trusting me and working so well with me Wernholm family!
