How much did the tail of C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) change over the course of seven days? Here's my pics! This comet was by far the most interesting one l've gotten to photograph and looking at how drastically it changed day to day was so exciting. ☄️

1995 vs 2025.. As a little girl I loved my parents Celestron scope. I spent so many nights under the stars totally amazed at the wonder of it all. Thirty years later and I'm still in love.... but this time with my very own Celestron! I never could've imagined where l'd be on my journey all these years later! 🥹✨

Aurora chasers! A G4 watch has been issued! What this means; there’s a chance we will get a NICE aurora show, especially in the Northern states, but it could reach as low as Alabama/California etc. With these you really never know what’s going to happen! Tonight’s sunset, featuring sunspot region 4087, which earlier this week produced an X2.7 flare! While small, it has a Beta-Gamma-Delta magnetic layout. It has one very tightly packed delta structure where sunspots of opposite polarity meet and cause the solar fireworks we all enjoy so much. Keep an eye on this region as it rotates in a more favourable earth-facing position in the days ahead.

Hello to all my new followers! ✨ I’m Sam, a backyard astrophotographer from Pennsylvania. And my sidekick, AstroJack! I started my journey in 2020 when I got my first telescope and completely fell in love with astrophotography. It’s still surreal to me that you can capture things like this from right here on Earth. Over the years not only has my passion for this grown but also my knowledge of space and equipment collection, it even includes a solar set up which I absolutely love! I primarily image with refractors for deep space and my SCT for planetary. If you are also wanting to get into this, use what you’ve got and have fun! I started with a pair of 1970’s binoculars and my cell phone. Don’t let lack of equipment stop you! 💗
