Carli Segura, what can I say that would express what this senior means to me?

When this child walked into my classroom she was shy and didn't say much, she seemed guarded. As I got to know her and we realized how similar our life stories were, we formed an instant bond, she let her guard down completely and over the years she has become like a daughter to me!

She is beautiful and smart, thoughtful and kind, tough and independent and wise beyond her years. I'm so grateful to have taught her and I am blessed to have created a bond that will last a lifetime!

Carli Ann, go on to do all the great things you are destined to do and ALWAYS remember your worth and that tough times never last but tough people do!! I love you and I am so proud of you.

This child loved the camera and the camera LOVED her! She made my job as a photographer super easy! I wish she would have made my job as her high school teacher (3 TIMES) just as easy 😉

Hailey Smith will go down in history as one of my favorite students ever. I'm super proud of how hard she worked to get where she is today. Her feisty personality is what she likes to show off first, only the lucky ones get to see her true heart and I was one of those people!

Thank you Sheri Smith for allowing me the honor to capture her in all her glory! She's is beautiful inside and out and I'm blessed to have had her as a student...3 times!

It's not everyday I get to see my students outside of my classroom but I was blessed to have spent the evening with 2 of my faves!
Austin and Mackenzie (step-siblings) are amazing in every way; talented, smart, kind, and beautiful!

Clearly my camera loved Mackenzie! She's quiet and shy in the classroom but put her in front of the camera and she radiates confidence. As for Austin, he is also a quiet kid in class and only reveals his funny personality to those who are lucky enough to know him outside of the classroom. Both of these STA seniors have everything going for them and I can't wait to see their success!

When I decided to pick my camera back up, my sole intention was to do birth photography. This was the first birth I've been a part of in quite some time but I was quickly reminded why I love it so much. The magic of capturing such a sweet moment in life fills my heart with so much joy.

How often do you make a New Year's Resolution and actually keep it? I'm hoping this year I'll keep mine. My hope is to grow my Photography business this year and put myself out there, as hard as that may be for me. But I can't do it without your help!

I plan to focus on Families, Senior Portraits, and Birth sessions but will also host mini-sessions and offer sessions such as maternity, newborns, engagments, and everything in between! Please reach out to inquire about a session.
