Relationships matter.
And when it comes to schools, enrollment matters, too.
One of the projects I’m most proud of in my career went live this month and is now in its final stretch: a district-wide enrollment and storytelling campaign with Fullerton Joint Union High School District. It was built to do more than post content. The goal was to give students and families a clear, honest look at each campus so they feel excited to visit open houses, explore options, and ultimately, enroll.
What made this campaign different was the structure: a mapped, district-wide rollout built for sustained engagement during open enrollment. A consistent schedule of video and photo assets paired with a cohesive graphic system made the campaign instantly recognizable- while still letting each school’s identity shine.
This work was only possible because of trust. FJUHSD stayed deeply engaged while also giving the team they hired the space to lead. That flexibility strengthened the work and played a major role in the campaign’s success. We proposed it early, built it over the summer, and aligned rollout planning with principals in September. Then we executed-across every campus-through months of coordination, on-site shoot days, and steady collaboration grounded in shared standards and a shared plan.
At B43Productions, my team and I produced the full rollout and an evergreen content library schools can continue using beyond this campaign, supported by professional photo libraries that kept the visuals consistent and people-centered. In total: 42 core marketing videos, 7 principal kickoff videos, 80+ vignettes, 21 montage posts, 21 carousel posts, and thousands of photos captured across campuses.
Seeing it land so well has been incredibly rewarding. I’m sharing because I’m truly proud of what we accomplished and because it reinforces something I believe deeply: when leaders trust their partners, momentum builds and results can exceed expectations. Partnership, relationships, and trust drove the success of this campaign- and they’re the framework B43 is built on.
If you’re curious how we approached a project of this scale, I’m always happy to share what worked- and what we learned. Good luck out there. I know it’s a tough season in education. This field is built on community, and we’re here to support each other.
