The face behind the eye. 👁️ 📸 Hi! I’m Sophia, a portrait photographer here in Sacramento.
Learning to take up space in front of the camera, not just behind it. I wouldn’t ask you to do anything that I wouldn’t do. 💗 Trust me, I totally get how being photographed can make you feel. Most of us have insecurities. Being in front of the camera can feel vulnerable, like handing someone else control over how you’ll be seen..Whether or not you like being put under a spotlight, my goal is to guide you into a space that you feel like you can open up and be yourself. I want what we create to feel like you, not some trending IG post.
For some reason my brain turns to mush when the record button is pressed. 🎥 😅(& as a child I used to always say that I wanted to be an actress, I was just a major Hillary Duff fan! 💖) 🤩 with that being said, I am working on finding what what works for me so I can better connect with you all.
I recently hit 1,400 followers. I appreciate it. Looking forward to being more involved on this platform!

Gone are the days of my long flowing locks blessed my hair back in June with a big chop! It feels/looks amazing.
