That time of year again - LAST MINUTE SENIOR PORTRAITS!!!

Did the end of the school year sneak up on you and you need your portraits ASAP? Let's set up a shoot!

Over the next few weeks, I am booking 60 minute senior shoots in the Folsom area for only $225. With that, you get three fully edited digital images that you can do whatever you want with! Grad announcements? Invites to your grad party? Prints to pass out to family and friends? Whatever you want to use them for you can!!

Each additional image is only $35 each or you can purchase ALL of the proofed, edited images (usually between 40-60) for an additional $125!

Turnaround time for the photo gallery is also within 72 hours of the shoot so you can get your pics quick!

I was going through a bunch of old photos that I recently found from my time as a full time Editorial photographer and came across these.

I was covering one of the first Folsom LIVE events and was going from venue to venue getting shots when I went up to a French restaurant who was hosting a band - the owner's name was Gerard and he ended up moving to Old Fair Oaks where he ran The Village Bistro for a number of years.

When I got up to the top floor where everyone was there was a woman just rocking it and man - she was tearing it up!

I got right in her face (as I tend to do when shooting music) and started taking pics when all of a sudden she goes over to an older gentleman and starts singing to and with him. That older gentleman was her father... who just also happened to be Ike Turner! I snapped a few pics in the moment and then didn't want to be a pest so I buggered off. Totally forgot about that until I found these pics. See - hoarding isn't such a bad thing!

Aaaand of course now I have to post the special pic I made for Johanna and Carlos a couple of years back after shooting the fam. I feel like it’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever made. Back at my Bulls@!T with this these holiday portraits. This is my 9th year shooting the Garcia/Tejuco/Garcia-Maguid families and I almost always seem to find weird things to do with the pics.
This year, Belinda and Youssef were giving me strong editorial vibes so I decided a little proof of concept was in order. I mean, I believe it!! I say they are either a band or some other flavor of cultural icons from this photo. Hey - I know a few models you guys can use!! What do you think? lol

A quick few from Madi and Jim’s wedding that I photographed last night at Scribner Bend Vineyards in the Delta. Went out with my brand new Canon R6 Mark ii and really had a great time shooting such a beautiful day with my new mirrorless!
I was so excited to see the pics and ended up sitting in my car in the parking lot after the wedding and editing a few. They turned out really nice and can’t wait to sit down and edit these proper on my editing rig!
