This professional lifestyle shoot was so much fun! As a vet tech, Rebecca wanted to incorporate animals in her shoot but also wanted a variety of shots for marketing materials, conferences, retreats, email signatures and Prezzi and Powerpoint slide decks. We were able to achieve her vision at the Cottonwood Riding Club. Horses, beautiful Colorado landscape and a little Dolly Parton playing in the background all added the fun touches needed to bring this photoshoot to life.

[Idoux Family Newborn Gallery]

One of my favorite parts of any photography session is getting to work with my clients to bring our collective vision to life. I had so much fun working with Aubrey planning out this session. Initially this was supposed to be an outdoor maternity shoot complete with a fresh bouquet of lilies, but baby Lily decided to arrive the day of our shoot! I loved Aubrey's idea of incorporating lilies into their session so we used them instead for their newborn shoot at home. Such a fun personal touch that made this shoot memorable. And isn't that lacy outfit selected by mama just the sweetest?! Congratulations Idoux family on your precious baby girl!

Hello and welcome to Gracen Fae Photography! I am so excited to finally be officially launching my social media pages! But I wanted to share a little bit about me, the person behind the lens, because who I am is what I bring to every shoot and it is the soul behind my art.

I'm a mother to two little girls (two and three years old... yep, they're 15 months apart!) and a Littleton/Denver, Colorado photographer with a passion for capturing your beautiful moments. Motherhood (maternity, newborn, milestones, breastfeeding, mama and me) and family lifestyle sessions are my favorite, but I love capturing people in all seasons of their lives. As a mamma of littles, I know firsthand how hard it can be to wrangle your crew and capture everyone looking at the camera at the same time. Not to mention, we mamas are often the ones snapping all the picture's, but rarely in the pictures with our bigs and littles. I get it. All of it.

In my early 20s I worked at a photo studio, where I first learned basic photography skills, which I've honed over the years as a hobby. I credit my husband for encouraging me to turn that hobby into Gracen Fae Photography in 2020.

Gracen and Fae are my daughters’ middle names, which feels so right. My girls are my greatest work of art. They bring me deep joy and inspire me daily to bring my best to all that I do. In 2018 I left my career to become an at-home-parent full time because I didn't want to miss any moments with them especially during their younger years. We spend our days playing outdoors in nature, exploring Colorado's parks and trails, jumping in puddles and getting covered in dirt. I love being a mama and pursuing my photography; two things I love deeply and that make my soul come alive.  Photos are my primary way of telling my girls the stories of my childhood. I grew up in Africa (Liberia, Kenya, and Ethiopia), having experiences very different from theirs. Photographs make it possible for me to share precious memories from my childhood with them that they wouldn’t be able to grasp any other way.
