Six months of smiles, snuggles, and being so very loved. 🌻✨

Sweet baby girl spent the evening by the water surrounded by sunshine, sunflowers, the people who love her most and even a couple of duckies. 🦆 💛

I first met this sweet couple when we did their maternity session last fall! Watching families grow and documenting these little milestones will never get old. I feel so blessed to grow alongside such sweet families. 🤍🥹

Sometimes the most beautiful memories come from the plans that didn’t go as expected. 🤍
•
This session was supposed to take place at the beach on the lake… but after thunderstorms, lightning, hail, and a complete downpour (when the weather apps told us otherwise) - we pivoted and did a last minute location change… where we found ourselves tucked along the backside of the lake (and right off a parking lot) instead. 😅🤪
•
And honestly? I think it was exactly where we were meant to be.
•
Watching these two play, hearing the giggles, and capturing all the sweet in-between moments reminded me that the best family memories aren’t about perfect plans - they’re just about being together. ✨
•
The way these kiddos love each other had me smiling the entire session. 🥹

Some sessions are perfectly posed… and some are snacks, cuddles, wandering toddlers, extra helping hands, and making sweet memories along the way. 🤍

And honestly? Capturing moments just as they are — wafers and all — will forever be my favorite.

Because one day, when these babies are all grown up, the little behind-the-scenes things that helped get through the session are often the memories that end up feeling the sweetest. 💛

There’s something really special about photographing a family at the same place where so many of their own memories began. Barefoot summers, golden light, wild laughter, and one more generation growing up on Grandpa’s land. ✨

Sidenote: the tractor in these photos has held generations of memories — from childhood rides with Grandpa to tiny hands on the steering wheel years later and I feel so honored to have captured some new memories there!

Kindergarten graduation sessions might officially be one of my new favorites 🥹🎓✨
•
The sparkly dress, the tiny cap + gown, the golden sunset on the track, the excitement in becoming a “big kid” next year… all of it is just so special!
•
These little milestone sessions are about so much more than photos. They’re about freezing the season you never want to forget - the missing teeth, the baby cheeks, the excitement, the confidence and the magic of being six years old. 🤍

This one was EXTRA sweet. 🥹⚾️✨
•
Our sweet little baby boy is turning ONE today.
•
I truly don’t know how time seems to move so fast once you have kids… it feels like just yesterday we were praying for God to bless us with our boy — and here he is, already a year old.
•
After four years of being solely a girl mom, this little guy came in hot. Our soft, cutesy, girl-vibe home was instantly shaken up with all things boy — dirt, speed, rough & tumble play, belly laughs, and so much joy.
•
W has been on the move since about four months old and is SO close to walking - we can almost taste it as much as he tasted this cake.
•
He can take a few steps here and there… but honestly, the kid is FAST. If there’s a quicker way to get somewhere, he’s choosing that method (which is currently to speed-crawl or run in his saucer) every time. 😂
•
Our little all-star will be ready for the big leagues before we know it — and I already can’t wait to see all the incredible things he does in this life. 🤍
•
Happy first birthday, Waylon. We love you and and can’t wait to watch all the great things you do in this life! ⭐️⚾️♥️
