2 Inch Deep Cradled Hardboard Art Panels.

Great alternative to canvas. Good for oils, acrylics, collages and mixed media art. Can be used to mount paper, photos, fabrics or prints.

Hand crafted using unprimed, formaldehyde free, tempered hardboard panels and birch plywood sides.

Panels are made in the USA using quality hardboard that have more uniform fibers and low acidity to produce a painting panel that is ultra stable which eliminates warping and bowing issues common to other substrates.

Birch plywood sides are also used for their stability, straightness and uniform light color. Can be stained, painted or clear coated.

You can frame the cradled panels just like you would a standard stretched canvas frame or hang the panels directly for a frameless presentation.

Prime with commercial or handmade gesso grounds--acrylic or oil based.
