Progress post!
1: the raised shimmer champagne-colored shining on these beautiful menus still me me smile. I did most of the late in the evening after work. We had just gotten a puppy. I usually struggle with shakiness, but for these my hand was mysteriously smooth. I get jealous of my past self for this smoothness sometimes 😊
2: magic 😍
3-4: these were when I really started to feel more confident with my calligraphy…notice “more” 😉
5: starting to give broad edge a try! Very baby beginnings of foundational hand.
6-9: early pointed pen. Not my very first attempts but early on for sure. These remind me that being a beginner is fun, scary, shaky, awkward, frustrating. And gives me courage on tough days.
