I was on my walk at Wilson Lake when I came across these two friends sitting on a blanket, just reading, writing, and doing their thing. Something about the moment felt so special—it was like I was being nudged to go talk to them and ask if I could capture it. I’m really glad I did, because they were so sweet and just genuinely awesome. I told them to just keep doing what they were doing and act like I wasn’t even there, and they made it so easy. Such a beautiful, natural moment 🤍

“I was out walking like I do every Saturday when I noticed a father and his son with the son’s bike. Something about the moment stood out to me, and I felt this push to go say something—like God was nudging me, telling me to just go for it. So I walked up to them, introduced myself, and asked if I could take a photo. I’m glad I did, because moments like this deserve to be remembered.”

Out on my usual Saturday walk, I felt a quiet nudge to stop and talk to a mom and her son I passed by. I asked if they’d like a few photos, and she immediately lit up—she told me her son absolutely loves having his picture taken.

They were on their way to grab a sweet treat after their walk, and I’m so grateful I listened to that moment of encouragement. They were both so kind, and her son was just the sweetest. Moments like this remind me how special simple connections can be. 💛
