A very large, beautiful rattlesnake with a vibrant yellow hue from an Auburn, California property. Rattlesnakes will flick their tongue significantly more when distressed to 1). get an idea of what exactly you are, and 2). potentially to tell you they aren't happy about you being close enough to see their tongue, let alone the snake as a whole.
