1. Being authentically yourself in front of a stranger can feel awkward.

The sillier you feel doing what I'm asking you to do, the better the photo usually turns out. 😂

I show up as my authentic, slightly chaotic self so by the end of your session it feels more like hanging out with a friend than being photographed. ✨

2. You're trying to copy a pose exactly or hold a pose too long.

That's what creates that stiff, awkward feeling.

Instead, move THROUGH the pose. Walk, spin, sway, laugh, play with your hair. Motion creates natural moments that feel like you.

3. You're overthinking.

If you're stuck in your head trying to remember what to do, it shows up on camera.

When I notice that happening, we stop, shake it out, dance for a second, and reset. You focus on having fun && I’ll do the rest 🤍

✨ PREVIEW ✨ for a beautiful couples shoot for two beautiful humans.

I asked them to write a little blurb of what they love about each other and then recorded them saying it out loud and used it in this video. 💕

The full gallery will be done tomorrow and I cannot wait to show them to the clients and as well on here.

They look like they are straight from a romance movie/ novel and I am so excited.

At first our dream location really just wasn't possible so we had to compromise

And then not even halfway into it it looked like the rain was going to wash us out

But honestly they couldn't have turned out better and I am so excited cuz the rain never did pour down in this location is beautiful in its own way

So stay tuned for the gallery tomorrow!
