Anyone who knows Harper knows she isn’t exactly shy about making her wishes known. 😂 If she wants attention, she’ll let you hear about it! This girl has opinions, a voice to share them, and absolutely no problem making sure her people understand what she needs. ❤️🐾

But something different happens when I’m sitting at my piano.

I can play for hours, literally and there she is… my sweet girl, curled up at my feet. No demands. No insistence that I stop what I’m doing to give her attention. Just Harper, content to be close to me.

Harper girl, you may have a lot to say about most things in life, but when we’re here together, your quiet presence says everything my heart needs to hear. ❤️

I’ll never know exactly what she remembers or what she understands about the life she had before. But I hope she knows this: she is loved, she is cherished, and she will never have to wonder if she belongs.

And if you keep choosing this little spot beside me, I’ll always be grateful for the privilege of having you there. 🐾❤️

Wind in our faces, fall colors all around, new places to explore, and plenty of stops along the way! Harper and Riley enjoyed a laid-back quad ride through the beautiful fall scenery, took a break at a dog park, and even got to do a little shopping at the farm store for some brand-new toys. 🧸❤️

There were furry friends to meet, treats to enjoy, and a little spoiling at our final stop. Mom and Dad enjoyed a cold one while the pups had their popcorn, because everyone deserves a little something special after a day of adventure! 🍿🍻

It wasn’t about how far we went or how many miles we covered. It was about fresh air, wagging tails, new experiences, and making memories with our favorite four-legged co-pilots. 🥰

The best days are the ones spent together, with a little fall magic and a whole lot of Puggle personality! 🍁🐶

There are some dogs who give you love… and then there is Harper. 🤎

In the three years Harper has been with us, she has given us more love than I could have ever imagined. Puggles are known for being affectionate, but Harper takes it to another level entirely.

Her kind of love is something a picture can never quite capture.

She doesn’t simply cuddle. She presses her whole body into you, as if she’s trying to become one with you. She melts into your arms, settles her head against you, and gives you that look of complete love and contentment. And then comes that little head tilt backward as she plants the softest, sweetest kisses on your face. 🥹❤️

There is no hesitation in her love anymore. There is only trust.

And that makes it even more precious, because earning Harper’s love and trust has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

Three years ago, she came into our world. Somewhere along the way, she became a piece of our hearts.

And when Harper loves you, she really loves you.
With her whole body.
With her whole heart.
With everything she has.

My sweet Harper girl… I hope you always know just how deeply you are loved right back. 🐾🤎

Some souls don’t just touch your heart. They curl themselves around it and never let go.

Some places hold memories… and some places hold hearts. 🤎

I was working in the kitchen today when I happened to look out the window and saw Harper and Riley lying in this exact spot.

It stopped me in my tracks.

This was Baily’s spot. My first puggle baby would lie here for hours, soaking up the sunshine and keeping watch over the yard. Seeing Harper and Riley curled up there together brought back so many memories.

And just behind them, on the ground, is a little plaque honoring Baily and my other fur babies who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🐾🌈

I don’t know if dogs remember places the way we do, or if there’s something more to it. But seeing my two babies finding comfort in the very same place Baily loved so much… well, it warmed a little corner of my heart today.

Maybe some things really are passed down through love.
Maybe some places remember too. ❤️

Forever loved. Never forgotten. And somehow, still part of the family. 🐾🤎🌈

😂🐾 WELL… SOMEONE FINALLY FOUND HIS SH***UN SEAT! 🚙🐾

Riley has been contemplating this move for a very long time. He’s always wanted to ride up front, but apparently the whole “jump into the front seat while the truck is moving” thing was just a little too much commitment. 😂

But on the way home from the cabin, Riley finally decided… TODAY WAS THE DAY. He made the leap, claimed sh***un, and naturally, Mom couldn’t resist indulging him. ❤️

And then, because apparently one Puggle in the front seat wasn’t enough… Harper joined him. 😂

Judging by these faces, I’m pretty sure we have officially discovered their preferred method of transportation.

Riley: “I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life.”
Harper: “Move over, brother. I’m management.”
Mom: “Apparently I’m just the seat cushion now.” 😂

The cabin trip may be over, but these two have clearly upgraded their ride home. 🐾❤️🚙

Sh***un has officially been claimed. 😎🐶🐶

We’re sorry we’ve been a little absent lately. ❤️ After returning home from vacation, we experienced a passing in our family, and we’ve been taking some time and simply catching our breath.

But we’re slowly finding our way back to our routines—and of course, Harper & Riley are doing just fine. 🐾❤️ They’ve been soaking up all the extra love and are very happy to have their people home!

And now… APPLE SEASON IS HERE! 🍎🍂

The garden is getting mature, the air is starting to feel like fall, and that can only mean one thing…

The puggles— I mean, the models—are getting ready for their fall wardrobe to make its return! 😂🍁🐶

So stick around, friends. We’re easing back into our favorite routines, enjoying the little things, and getting ready for some fall fun with Harper & Riley!

THREE MORE SLEEPS… 🐾❤️

Paradise is beautiful, the Caribbean sun has been good to us, and we’ve made memories we’ll treasure forever… but there are two little faces waiting for us at home who have been on our minds every single day. 🥹🐾

Three more days until we’re reunited with Harper & Riley! ❤️

I can already picture it… the excitement, the wiggles, the puggle kisses, the “Where have you been?!” looks, and then those first long cuddles that make everything feel right again. 🥰

We’ve loved every minute of this adventure, but there’s something about coming home to the ones who love you most.

Three days, two very missed puggles, and one VERY happy reunion ahead. 🐶🐶❤️

Home is wherever Harper & Riley are. 🏡🐾💕
