We took the siblings to the river last night. Watching these two play like they did was pure joy.

The moment Harper and Riley’s paws touched the river, they completely lost their minds with happiness. They splashed through the cool water, raced across the sandbars, chased each other with endless energy, and smiled from ear to ear. For a little while, the rest of the world simply disappeared.

No schedules. No worries. No squirrels to patrol. Just sunshine, sparkling water, and soft sand beneath their paws.

Watching them reminds me that happiness doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s found in a river, a wide-open space, and someone you love to share it with.

Days like this fill their hearts… and ours too. ❤️🐾

Monday Morning with Harper & Riley 🐾🌲

A new week begins, and these two are already showing the way.

No rushing. No worrying about what happened last week. No stressing about what might happen next.

Just one step at a time down the trail, noses to the breeze, hearts open to whatever adventure the day brings.

This Monday, take a lesson from the dogs:
🌿 Follow the path in front of you.
🌿 Pause and enjoy the beauty around you.
🌿 Trust that you don’t have to see the whole journey to keep moving forward.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is put one paw in front of the other and let the woods work their magic.

Harper was just trying to relax when Riley decided it was the perfect time for a full-on admiration session. From the sweet snuggles to the adoring gaze, Riley makes it clear that Harper is the center of their world.

Cabin mode: activated. 🐾🚙

Harper has assumed her official position as Chief Scenic Route Inspector, keeping a close eye on every mile of the journey and making sure we don’t miss a thing. You can practically hear her thinking, “Are we there yet? Are we there yet? How about now?”

Meanwhile, Riley is taking a much different approach. As Vice President of Relaxation, he’s perfectly content to sit back, enjoy the ride, and let Harper handle all the important cabin business. His expression says, “Wake me when we get to the snacks.”

Different travel styles, same destination: a weekend filled with fresh air, long walks, and making memories at the cabin. ❤️🐶🐶
