One of the biggest compliments I’ve heard from couples is, “I didn’t even notice you taking that photo… but it’s one of my very favorites.”
That’s the heart of documentary-style wedding photography. I’m there to quietly tell the story of your day as it actually unfolds from start to finish—the laughter, the nerves, the chaos, the happy tears. I want you to remember how your vendors went above and beyond, and to see the bts of the work they provided! I want you to even remember your plate of food at your reception.
I’m often seeing couples looking for a “documentary style photographer.” While yes, I still recommend providing a list of family group photos, I love documenting your day exactly how it is. Part of pulling this off is planning— planning emotional and special moments like a private dance, first touch, a moment alone with your new spouse after the ceremony.
