🎉 Week 2 at the Healthy Kids Running Series - Chehalis, WA Bubble was a blast! The girls’ 1/4 mile race was super close—like true little champions neck and neck! 🏃‍♀️💨

I’m so proud of how much they’ve grown since the beginning of the season. It’s the best feeling seeing those big smiles as they hit the final stretch, especially when they spot my camera 📸✨ Some of their “look right at me” moments are pure gold!

Keep shining, runners! Can't wait to see more smiles and sprints next fall! 🌟🥳

Look at all these smiling faces charging through the bubbles like tiny caffeinated unicorns! The kids were having an absolute blast, and honestly, I think the adults on the sidelines were just as excited. Pretty sure I saw at least three grown-ups “helping” the kids pop bubbles. 😂

After seeing those giant bubbles, I’ve realized my current grandparent bubble supplies is wildly inadequate. Even the toddlers were out there making bubbles bigger than their heads like little professional bubble engineers!

Tomorrow is our FINAL Healthy Kids Running Series - Chehalis, WA — Spirit Day AND Awards Day! Break out those HKRS shirts, team colors, crazy socks, tutus, capes… whatever screams “I ran fast for points and snacks!”

Stick around after the races for backdrop pictures, sponsor goodies, treats, and all the fun chaos we can pack into one event!

And yes… I’ll finally be announcing the winner of the photo session gift certificate AND the water bottle stuffed with candy and a mystery gift card. Where’s the gift card for? Nice try. You’ve gotta be there to find out! 👀 (need not be present to win)

In 1 hour is the Appeal hearing regarding the BESS at the Rochester Bus Barn site! Those against the BESS, send positive thoughts their way! I hope lots of people watch the hearing on Zoom or YouTube, if you can't make it in person!
