*Announcement on reopening the books for photo sessions*
7 weeks of Isaiah. 7 weeks of learning a new human & loving them so deeply, while healing from a difficult pregnancy & crazy fast labor. 7 weeks that have gone way too fast & leave me wishing I could bottle it up to hold onto. 7 weeks that I will reminisce on for the rest of my life. I’m truly so in love & so blessed.

That being said- I’m feeling good enough to take on some photo sessions! I will not be resuming doula or birth services until further notice, but I would love to take on a few sessions for spring & get back into doing what I love. I will be selective & intentional with what I take on right now. I truly want to dive in creatively. I’m so excited to capture your love, families, babies, etc again. After many years of secondary infertility, an ectopic rupture, surgeries, heartbreak & an HG pregnancy… our miracle boy has arrived. There truly is no words to express the immense love & gratitude we feel for this sweet boy. He is truly worth every struggle. Isaiah was born 2/10 at 3:08am in our own home filled with so much love. Our older kids are SO in love & got to witness his birth. We are doing great 🤍

I’m still here! I’ve slowed down over the past couple months while I navigated a pregnancy that has been such a blessing, but so rough on me. I still can’t believe after 4 years of infertility & supporting so many families through birth… it’s my turn. Officially on maternity leave until my little man arrives & I will let everyone know when I am back ❤️ I can’t wait to get back to capturing & supporting families, but for now, I’m taking in this miracle. ❤️❤️ Thank you for your continued support & love.

Mini session time?!
The days of golden beach photos may be gone for the season, but I am excited for this season of Holidays & sharp, crisp photos in the colder weather. As many know I am not taking on births at the moment as I near closer to my own due date, but I AM still HAPPILY taking on other sessions, including Fresh 48 images until mid January.
Whether in your home, the hospital or in the outdoors, I would love to capture you, your pets & your families.

I still don’t quite have the words to express what happened last night, but I am just truly so humbled & greatful. 💐

Last night, I attended an event for pregnancy & infant loss hosted by Rochester Regional & Unity Hospital. Not only have I experienced a loss of my own, but I have supported many families through different types of losses with bereavement doula services & by capturing photographs of the families with their babies. I don’t do this for recognition. I do this because it could be any of us & I have a talent that can be a huge aid in the grieving process, so it only feels right to me to use it. Last night though, I was recognized & much to my shock (I had no clue this was happening!) The award was handed to me by an incredible nurse who has worked countless losses- often right there when I attend a loss myself. I received this award along with another incredible mama who provides sweet stuffed bunnies to grieving parents so they don’t have to walk out completely empty handed. This community is incredible & I am so blessed to be a part of it all & bring some love to families in their time of sorrow.

I wish more people knew about fresh 48 sessions….
So I’m going to give you some details so you know more.
•Fresh 48 sessions are done within 48 hours of birth, in the birth space.
• Babies change SO much, SO fast. These sessions capture baby with the most “fresh” details of your little one, aside from a birth session of course.
•You can hire an independent photographer for these vs use the photographer that goes around the hospital.
•Pro’s of choosing an independent photographer means more focused time capturing babies details, as well as capturing bonding moments between you & your baby.
It means more focus to detail when editing your cherished images. It means we are not based off commission & you know what you are paying & for how much before you book your session. It means getting to choose a photographer that best suits your style when it comes to editing. It means getting to build a bond with your photographer who is trusted in such a sacred space. It means typically getting more images for your money than you would by using the in hospital contracted photographer.
•Fresh 48 sessions are more lifestyle & documentary focused instead of posed like most standard newborn sessions.
•Fresh 48 sessions are one of my top favorites & make my heart happy.

If you’re wondering if you should get the maternity photos, the answer is YES. This mama was on the fence & is so greatful she did. We did a casual simple feel for most of them up in my brockport studio, but added in some gown photos too. I can’t wait to meet their baby boy for his newborn session!
