🚘 Looking for something unforgettable to do in New Hampshire this weekend? Climb to the Clouds returns to the Mount Washington Auto Road August 7–9, bringing one of the most thrilling motorsports events in New England back to the highest peak in the Northeast.

The Mt. Washington Hillclimb sends race cars up the steep, winding 7.6‑mile Auto Road from the base toward the 6,288‑foot summit, with drivers taking on tight turns, big elevation gain, mountain weather, and one of the most dramatic roads in the country.

This year’s event is officially the 2026 Paul Giblin Memorial Climb to the Clouds, honoring Paul Giblin’s longtime role in the hillclimb and supporting Gold Star Families.

The weekend includes practice runs, spectator viewing, a Friday car show, Saturday “Music to the Clouds” with live music, food trucks, beer tents, and Sunday race action as competitors make full runs up the mountain.

If you’ve ever driven the Auto Road at regular speed, watching race cars tackle it is a completely different kind of mountain experience.
