This is a good example of the reality of a photo shoot. There are laughs along the way and it is a great time. It doesn't always go as planned and you have to have much patience. Some people think this is easy to do and also think it is inexpensive because it is digital. These things are far from the truth. It takes many hours of practice and tons of equipment, software and hours of editing. If you want your precious memories done correctly make sure you find a great photographer and remember, you get what you pay for. That said, I love photography and I don't think I will ever give it up. :-)

Please Credit DK Portrait Studio if you use these photos and LIKE the page please. :-) Proceeds go to families in need. The turnout was great despite the trickle of raindrops as the event progressed and the participants did a fantastic job with their makeup! It was a great time and there were many families and people of all ages present having a fun time. There were prizes and pie throwing as you will see in the photos. Games were enjoyed as people waited for the run to start around Capital Lake to start. Next year I expect there will be an even bigger turn out as people learn of this great event. Thanks Olympia for this new and exciting adventure!
