The Cemeteries Of Western New York Project

Preserving old cemeteries(digitally and physically) was a project that I have wanted to do for years.I want to make sure that these important people that helped form our community are never forgotten. I enjoy the tranquility, serene beauty, unique craftsmanship, historical importance and individuality that can be found in every cemetery and recording it for future generations to enjoy as well. er a great article in the Democrat & Chronicle about forgotten graveyard sites and some great photography from my friend Michael Vaalkoth I finally decided to get the project underway. "TCOWNYP" has taken to actual preservation of some of the smaller graveyards themselves. I ask that the images which i have worked VERY HARD to capture, which includes researching where the cemeteries are,driving to locations,taking photos and uploading to my computer and website NOT be copied and published to another website without my permission. Images are not allowed to be copied for publication and resale. Personal use for family genealogy is fine but it's always nice to be asked and credited. This is a simple thing to do and goes along way to make me feel that i'm doing something good for others. Thanks,
