On August 2, 2025 granddaughter Ruby Gillian was proudly welcomed into her extended family.

In early July in anticipation of the birth of our second grandchild due in August, I joined our daughter Emma, son-in-law Giuseppe and grandson Pietro at one of their city parks along Lake Saint Clair to photograph their 2nd session of Maternity Photos.
Kudos to Giuseppe for including grandpa in this shoot with Emma. It was such a pleasure for both grandma and grandpa to be a part of this special occasion!

For some reason, grandpa couldn't pass them up when he found them.
Our Grandson Pietro seemed to enjoy them on this shoot which was prompted by the gift of the Radio Flyer out from a Great Aunt.

Four years ago, I posted this photograph of Kelsey Hughes - one of my favorites - to advertise the addition of Portfolio Photos to my menu of photographic services.

Awaiting the opportunity to return to my hobby of photography, and my desire is to begin taking Portfolio Photo sessions on a (TFP) Trade-For-Photos basis. For those aware of an experienced or beginning model in need of an extended portfolio willing to work with me, please share my page "Thomas Bertin Photography" and contact information.

Note that I will offer my services only for photographs that I personally would proudly display on the Internet; no photos will be taken of a questionable nature and certainly be age appropriate.

I have the equipment to shoot in indoor locations with a complete background and lighting set-up and truly enjoy capturing Individual/Family/Childrens Portraits in outdoor venues as well.

This wonderful photo was taken of Kelsey in mid-October of 2015; one of many of her taken during a day of shooting in and around Rochester and Stoney Creek Metropark. It was great having her play the part of a stand-in model while her brother Tristan changed clothes for his Senior Photo session.

This is a duplicate print of a photo taken during one of our trips that I had printed on metal. As you can see, it is still shrink-wrapped - will sell as is for do-it-yourself mounting/framing or will mount for you at additional cost.
