Now I do not consider myself an writer by any stretch of the imagination, but I have started writing more and I found that Substack is a great platform for doing any type of writing that is free. I don't necessarily consider my posts as content for a blog, but just writing about various aspects of my story as a visually impaired photographer. Now I have started writing about and sharing older photos and I just concluded today's post and wanted to share it with y'all. Occasionally I like to dabble in modern pictorialism. It's not necessarily how the photo is taken, its all in how the photo is edited in post processing.

Besides being a portrait photographer, I offer a local service for individuals and families to scan and organize slides, negatives, old photos, journals and documents into digital memories.

I am also accepting donations of any and all slides, negatives, photos, journals etc to digitize, organize and at a later date to post the files online with proper credit to the collection donor. Keep in mind that if you donate a collection it becomes the property and permanent collection of The Charles Howard Media.
