After a lot of prayer and reflection, I've decided it's time to take a step back from my photography business for a bit.
For the remainder of this year, I will only be accepting senior portrait sessions. All other session types will be paused while I take time to rest, seek God's direction, and reevaluate what I want the future of Love, Erika to look like.
This isn't a permanent goodbye. 🥹
It's simply a season of recovery and reflection.
Over the past six years, I've had the incredible privilege of documenting so many of your stories. I will always be grateful for every family, couple, graduate, and mama who trusted me with their memories. The support has meant more than you know.
Right now, I feel called to slow down and focus on a few important things: finishing this bachelor's degree, being present with my family, and spending intentional time with God as I seek His direction for what's next.
If there's one thing I've learned, it's that sometimes the healthiest thing we can do is pause rather than push through exhaustion. I'm choosing to believe that rest is productive, too.
If you're a member of the **Class of 2027**, I'd still love to celebrate this exciting season with you! Senior portraits will remain available through the end of the school year, and you can still reach out to book.
Any sessions on the books will be completed as discussed, so no worries there either. If we have discussed a session, or you have paid a retainer (regardless of the type of session), you will remain on my schedule.
Thank you for your continued love, prayers, and support. I don't know exactly what the next chapter holds, but I do know that I'm trusting God to lead it.
