🌸 Flores de Mayo 2026 🌸

Flores de Mayo (Spanish for “Flowers of May”) is a month-long Filipino festival celebrated every May in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through floral offerings, rosary prayers, and hymns, this beautiful tradition reflects the deep faith, culture, and unity of the Filipino community. 🤍🙏

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Richmond Filipino Class and Dra. Maria Cielo Sinsioco for allowing us to cover this wonderful Flores de Mayo celebration held last May 10, 2026 at St. Michael Catholic Church.

It was truly heartwarming to witness the beautiful queens and little angels offering flowers and praises to Mama Mary. The event was filled with faith, love, tradition, and community spirit. 🌸✨
We also want to thank all the queens, angels, parents, volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes, generous sponsors, and everyone who contributed food to be shared with all. Your love and dedication made this celebration even more meaningful.
It is such an honor for us to be part of this wonderful and festive occasion.
