Listen, a well managed timeline is essential to the management of a wedding day, there’s no arguing that. However, within that timeline, there needs to be breathing room. Opportunities for moments to be LIVED! When there’s space to breathe, there’s room to feel, and those feelings will lead to a deeper and more authentic connection to your photographs. AI might be able to alter an image, but it won’t impact your memories.

Maybe hard launching a baby and a website in the same month was a bit much, but when have you known me to not be ambitious?

This new home for NSP speaks to the dynamic range of the work I’ve been producing in the last few years. breathed life into my portfolio (after I realized this year that much of the work on my site had been from circa 2019 or earlier).

This new space differentiates my service offerings between weddings and motherhood in a way that just makes sense in this season of my life and where my clients are as well. With much intentionality, a lot of the “fluff” has been paired down and what remains is a cohesive look into my client experience and collaborative spirit with my creative counterparts (read: the planners who execute the events that have allowed me the freedom to create my best work).

Elated to share it with you, and after over fifteen years in weddings, still eagerly looking ahead to what is next!

It is the utmost honor to be held in similar regard with so many professionals on this year’s Loverly List whom I admire. , thank you for the opportunity.

I’m grateful for each client who trusts me with documenting their chapters. I’m grateful for every planner, designer, and facilitator of soirées and shindigs alike who sees the value I bring to the table as a collaborator and invites me to create my best work.

I’m immeasurably grateful for the support of my team, my friends, my family, and especially my husband for taking a chance on my “business” idea so many years ago.

I’m thankful to the version of myself who was just a girl with an uncertain dream…so grateful she chose to keep going. I pray so often to be someone my girls can aspire towards. 💜

A book for the books was launched last night for the 13th volume of ! Thanks to the hospitality of , , , and . This new space in Richmond is unlike any locally and it was amazing to feel the energy of what’s possibly there for future events. So much talent in one room, including who created the stunning floral display, the colors of which complimented this year’s cover so well. Cheney, you outdid yourself this year, girl! Always grateful the opportunity to collaborate for and the local businesses they support.

This week has become a nonnegotiable for us. Every year, we retreat to our beloved and surround ourselves with some of the most inspirational women in our lives. We are the mirrors each of us need, showing the absolute best individually so we can realign with the knowledge of what we have to offer. To our families, to our clients, to our work, to the industry, and maybe most importantly, to ourselves.

If laughter is the best medicine, we’re in great health, and even better company! Already looking forward to next year’s Reset Retreat! 👏
