Squirrels are fun to watch sometimes. When the world feels heavy, or the noise is too much, I like to go outside and observe wildlife. Occasionally, I capture a cute, cool, or funny photo, like this one.

I was 10 and in 5th grade when the tragic events unfolded. I remember seeing everyone crying in my school, but our class had no idea why because our substitute teacher felt the news was inappropriate for us. Even though we lived in Wisconsin, they closed school early. It wasn’t until my mom picked me up, I knew what happened. I will never forget. 😞
