Who are we and what do we do?
Appalachian Artists Live is a local/regional music promotion project and radio program focused on giving Appalachian musicians a platform—particularly artists from Southwest Virginia, Northeast Tennessee, Western North Carolina, and the surrounding region.
At its center is Kevin Edwards, who hosts the program on WEHC 90.7 FM. WEHC & WISE FM Radio describes the show as a live in-studio program where local artists perform original songs, covers, and interviews.

The podcast description specifically says Kevin has been following and promoting local artists throughout the Tri-Cities for more than five years.
It also has a significant online presence, with performances, sessions and artist content distributed through social media and YouTube. A public listing describes the project as providing “live music videos, sessions, pictures” in addition to the radio show.
