Okay, I'll be honest... posting has been a little rough while fighting a head cold. 😅 But I wanted to take a break from talking about the Santa Experiences and explain what I mean when I say I create experiences, not just photo sessions.

Last year I did a few stand sessions, and they were probably what you'd expect. A lot of, "Can you smile for me?" "Can you look over here?" "Can you pretend to do this?" They turned out great, but I knew I wanted something different.

This year, I changed the way I photograph kids.

Instead of asking them to pretend, I want them to actually do something.

I added surprise buttons around my sets that make funny sounds, play music, or give little cues that make kids laugh naturally.

At the Lemonade Stand, the kids don't just hold a pitcher... they make fresh lemonade using real lemons.

Next up is the Pumpkin Stand, where they'll pick their pumpkin, put on goggles, gloves, and aprons, then "gut" their pumpkin just like the grown-ups.

After that comes the Apple Stand, where they'll pick fresh apples off the tree, wash them, slice them up, and make their own caramel apple snack to enjoy.

These aren't just mini sessions anymore—they're little adventures.

The smiles, laughter, messy hands, curious faces, and proud moments are all real, and that's exactly what I want to capture.

I'm so excited to keep creating these experiences and watching kids simply be kids. Those genuine reactions are the memories I want families to have forever. 🍋🎃🍎

As parents, we know the first cold season can be a little nerve-racking. That's why we created Santa Baby—a simple, low-traffic Santa session designed especially for newborns, infants, and young babies.

Instead of waiting around during our busy Santa events, your little one will have a dedicated session focused on capturing those precious first Christmas memories in a calmer environment.

One thing I realized while planning these Christmas experiences is that bigger families deserve more time.

Instead of trying to fit everyone into the same short visit, I created a separate Santa Experience designed especially for families with **three or more children**.

Your family will enjoy a private **10-minute visit with Santa**, giving every child the opportunity to talk with Santa, share their Christmas wishes, ask questions, and enjoy the magic of Christmas without feeling rushed. While your family visits, I'll be capturing genuine moments, smiles, laughter, and beautiful memories you'll cherish for years to come.

Each child ticket includes:
🍪 A Cookie Decorating Box from Mrs. Claus with 5 cookies to decorate at home (or freeze to leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve!)
📸 3 professionally edited digital image

Pricing:

Let's start with our classic Santa Experience!

This session was created for families who want more than a quick photo with Santa. My goal is to give every child a chance to slow down, enjoy the moment, and truly feel like they've visited Santa.

During your appointment, your family will enjoy a private visit with Santa on his cozy Christmas couch while I capture natural smiles, conversations, and genuine moments. Whether your child wants to tell Santa everything on their Christmas list or is a little shy, we'll let the experience unfold naturally.

Each child ticket includes:
🍪 A Cookie Decorating Box from Mrs. Claus with 5 cookies to decorate at home (or freeze to leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve!)

I have props to build, cookie boxes to order so families can take their creations home (or freeze them to put out for Santa!), Santa letters to design, and I want to make sure every detail is ready long before Christmas arrives.

I think it’s finally time to share my vision…

This will be the future home of Tell Me A Story Photography! ❤️

When I said I was going full-time, I meant it. This isn’t just about taking pictures anymore—it’s about creating memories and experiences that families will never forget.

Over the last year, my vision has changed. I don’t want you to leave with just a gallery of photos. I want you to leave with a story, a memory, and an experience your family will remember long after the photos are delivered.

I also feel a huge calling to create a space where every child feels welcome—especially children with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, ADD, and other unique needs. I want Ms. Megan’s studio to be a place where kids can be themselves, play, laugh, explore, and actually be excited to come back.

More than anything, I want this business to give back to the community that has supported me.

❤️ I want to gift photography sessions to single parents who have overcome incredibly difficult circumstances, so they have beautiful reminders of their “why.”

🎓 I want local schools to have my information so they can nominate seniors who otherwise couldn’t afford senior pictures.

✨ I want every child who walks through my doors to feel seen, included, and celebrated.

This studio is becoming so much bigger than photography. It’s becoming a place for memories, laughter, kindness, and community.

Our Grand Opening Experience will be Santa, and tickets will officially be released tomorrow! 🎅

But I want to be honest with you—this dream only works if people show up. Every ticket sold helps bring this vision one step closer to becoming a permanent home for Tell Me A Story Photography and a place where I can continue creating experiences and giving back to our community.
