Getting to photograph my twin sister and her family made this session extra special. Add in the beautiful fall colors, horses, and a little Utah Trail Rides adventure, and it was the perfect combination.

Fall family photos + horses + some of my very favorite people. 🤎🐴
This session at This Is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City was an extra special one because this is my twin sister and her family!
She has the BEST kids. I love watching how they interact with each other, help each other, and genuinely enjoy being together. Photographing a big family can come with a little extra chaos, but honestly, those in-between moments are some of my favorites.
And then we added HORSES. 😍
Horses are a huge part of their family’s story. They run Utah Trail Rides at This Is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City and also offer trail rides up in Huntsville, Utah. So of course we had to include the horses in their family photos!
The warm fall colors, soft morning light, and horses made this session feel completely like THEM.
And that’s exactly what I want your family photos to feel like.
Your session doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. Choose a location you love. Bring in something meaningful to your family. Let the kids be themselves. Those personal details are what help tell your family’s story.

15+ years behind the camera, and one of my favorite parts has been watching some of my favorite people grow up. 🤍

I can’t believe this little 8-year-old boy is now all grown up and heading out on a mission! 😭 How does time go so fast?!

It’s such an honor to capture these memories and watch these kids grow through the years. 📸🤍 So proud of you!

The best part of family photos isn’t getting everyone to smile—it’s capturing who they really are.
