📣 A Little Photography Update 🤍

As the date to welcome our second baby gets closer, I’ve had to make a difficult decision regarding my photography schedule. The pain and discomfort that come along with these final weeks of pregnancy have become increasingly difficult to manage, and I need to start listening to my body and prioritizing my comfort, safety, and time with my family.

Because of this, I have decided to close my books earlier than originally planned and will not be accepting any additional sessions for the remainder of my pregnancy.

I will, of course, be honoring the commitments I have already made. This includes my Fall Minis on August 29th, which currently have ONE spot remaining, a small wedding booked for September 12th, and a senior session that still needs to be rescheduled.
After those commitments are completed, my camera will officially be taking a little maternity leave with me. 🤍

This wasn’t necessarily the timeline I had originally envisioned, but right now, taking care of myself and baby has to come first. I want to be able to show up for the sessions I have committed to and give those clients the experience they deserve without pushing myself beyond what my body can comfortably handle.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support of my little photography business. Every booking, recommendation, share, and kind word means more to me than you know.

For now, I’m going to soak up these final weeks as a family before we welcome our newest little love. 🤍

Photography Session Finalization & Cancellation Policy:

I truly appreciate each and every person who chooses to book a photography session with me. Your support of my small business means more than you know! In order to keep sessions organized and ensure that I can give every client the time and attention they deserve, I ask that the following policy be respected.

12-Hour Finalization Requirement
For your scheduled session to be honored, all session details must be finalized no later than 12 hours prior to your scheduled session time.

This includes:
-Session date
-Session time
-Session location

If the date, time, and location have not been confirmed at least 12 hours before the session, the session will unfortunately be considered cancelled and will need to be rescheduled.

I completely understand that life happens, plans change, and sometimes it takes a little extra time to figure out the perfect location or schedule. However, I also need enough notice to properly plan my own schedule and prepare for your session.

Why I Have This Policy:

Photography is something I truly enjoy and currently do as a hobby and small business alongside being a wife/mom and caring for my own family. My time with my family is incredibly important to me, just as I know your time is important to you.

I am also currently 8.5 months pregnant, so when I have unexpected free time that could otherwise be spent resting, preparing for our growing family, or simply enjoying time with my family, I will absolutely take advantage of that opportunity.

Leaving a session unconfirmed until shortly before its scheduled time makes it difficult for me to plan my day and my family's time. This policy is simply meant to ensure that everyone's time is respected and that I can continue providing an enjoyable, well-prepared experience for my clients.

Please know that this policy is never intended to be unkind or inflexible. I genuinely appreciate every person who trusts me to capture their special moments, and I am incredibly thankful for your support of my small business.

By booking a session with me, you acknowledge and agree to this 12-hour session finalization policy.
