I’ve been loving all the family photos I’ve been doing this year. Before you know it. They’ll be all grown up and you’d wish you had taken more photos when they were younger.

15+years ago. I would always bring a point and shoot or a disposable film camera to all the functions so I would remember who and what was going on... To document. 15+ years later. It's still the same. You won't catch me anywhere without my camera. I've got archives of photographs of people. Most importantly memories captured in those photographs. For all the people who have worked with me on a professional and a personal level. I'm thankful for y'all!

From a photo series “GET CLOSE”
I’ve been working on this series since July of this year. My intention for this photo series is to capture couple’s in each embrace. And to get more people to take photos together. Selfies and social media has ruined what it’s like to have these moments little captured, leading us to becoming uncomfortable in front of a camera. My goal is to abolish that discomfort, and revive the craft of simple studio portraits. And possibly make people want to print out a photo to hang in their home. What was the last portrait you had printed out?

When was the last time you and your partner got photos taken? Just for the sake of getting a portrait taken.

This series “GET CLOSE” is my shot at capturing couples in their best light. And showing people that Love is the best 4 letter word.
