Some people have a waiting game. I have a waiting book. ✏️😂

Last week’s errands included shipping artwork, a car inspection that turned into new tires, and a friendly warning from the local PD. 🚔

Apparently, my to-do list needed a plot twist.

Thank goodness for my trusty waiting book. Keeping me entertained, reasonably sane, and out of further trouble. Mostly. 😇

Apparently, getting artwork into a gallery is easier than getting through a video without a blooper.

The paintings are packed. My dignity? Still somewhere in the studio.

Between a full-time job, writing a book, shipping artwork, making calendars, managing a small army of snowmen, and supervising my studio supervisor (JackCat), I'm beginning to wonder myself. 🤣

BORIS NEEDS YOUR VOTE!

Apparently entering the Federal Duck Stamp Contest wasn’t enough chaos for one year. Now there’s a People’s Choice Award.

My King Eider, affectionately known as Boris, is Entry #201 in this year’s Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest.

If that bright yellow chest, ridiculous orange beak and general air of Arctic superiority speak to you, toss Boris a vote.

There are 331 entries this year, including some seriously incredible wildlife artists, so I’m just tickled to have my first-ever duck swimming around with them.
