Let's talk camera gear for a minute.

Honestly one of my favorite things about photography is new gear. I absolutely love it. Researching and learning about it, finally buying it, unboxing it, and all of the new things it does. It's just fun.

I've tried just about every type of camera I can think of, and I think I've finally found "the one".

I always want something with amazing image quality, easy to use, and never gets in the way. And for me, that's the Ricoh GR series.
It's the only camera I've ever found that really lets me stay in the moment, be quick, get the snapshot, and be THIS excited for how it turns out. The size to quality ratio is so important.

They're the smallest camera with a sensor that size (APS-C). The lens is incredible. The over-all image quality leaves me wanting nothing. It just works AND it actually fits in your pocket. It's the size of an iPhone with pro quality images.

I can't say enough good things about it! Here's a few of my favorite images from the last month with it, and a photo of it next to a banana for scale.
