chloe booked a birthday session, our schedules were a mess trying to line up, and then she asked if her cousin could join last minute — of course we said yes! turns out that was the right call. both of them were nervous going in ("we'd never done anything like this before"), but by the end they said they couldn't stay serious, felt completely comfortable, and picked photos they genuinely loved.

that's the goal every single time. not a stiff, posed experience — a fun one, even if a couple technical things go sideways along the way.

the part nobody shows you 🖤

everyone sees the final gallery. nobody sees this — me telling lexie “yes, just like that” like i just witnessed a miracle. showing her the back of the camera and watching her face change. that’s the whole job right there.

people think photography is about gear and light and angles. it’s really about making someone feel seen enough to stop performing and just be. that flicker when a client realizes “oh… that’s actually me” — i’ll chase that feeling forever.

this is why i do this. every time.

📸 the warmth — $55 (reg. $85) — a golden-hour, one-outfit session built for people who hate being photographed and leave loving it
📸 the full bloom — $115 (reg. $155) — more time, more looks, more images, still just as easy
📸 the shadow study — $150 (reg. $225) — moody, editorial, styled — this is where we get a little dramatic (in the best way)
📸 the mythology — $275 (reg. $425) — the full experience: mood boards, styling, prop guidance, two concepts, two locations — basically a mini production, built around you
