The desert was my home for much of my childhood. I didn’t appreciate it then but boy do I appreciate it now.

I find a sense of freedom in the expanse, a sense of calming in it’s silence and a sense of discovery in it’s environment.

It’s not only unique but it’s majestic and I can’t help but feel inspired by it whenever I return to it.

No matter how many years I have been away it will always feel like home to me!

It just doesn’t get any cuter, does it?

This mini mama and her baby sister are just precious together. Their bond is delightful. 😍

Last weekend I had a bout with a cold that turned into a hoarse voice. Just a side note that it wasn’t the dreaded COVID, but it is making planned sessions a bit difficult.

Directing and not being able to use my voice properly is a bit of a challenge. Luckily my sweet friend and her family powered through it with me. We popped around some of Chico’s most known city sites and had some fun. I can’t wait to share more. Getting out and about with them to explore the city was a nice change. ❤️
