Please read and share second time I posted:
I’ve collaborated with .bike.life many times because I believed in what they stood for—supporting the bike/car scene and uplifting creators like myself who love photography and videography. I thought I was building real friendships.
But recently, I found proof that people I considered friends were talking behind my back—discrediting my work, mocking what I do, and clowning me for charging for individual clips.
This isn’t just a hobby. I work full-time and still pour everything into my craft. I don’t hand out free edits to every rider. I tag people in recap videos, especially for bigger events or accounts. But personal requests? That’s business.
Seeing there was a group chat run by .bike.life where I was dragged, finding out ._ made a “dead or alive” post with my face and posted my location to get clips, and seeing Mikey and publicly say photographers shouldn’t charge—was beyond disrespectful.
Even worse, the person behind everything knew and didn’t step in. You laughed along and said, “I got no control over that.” That silence told me everything.
If anyone had a problem with my pricing or work, we could’ve had a real convo. But instead, you exploited it and spread lies.
To other photographers and videographers: don’t let people guilt you into giving out your work for free. Set your boundaries. Just because you’re passionate about what you do doesn’t mean people get to walk all over you.
After over a year of supporting your page, your events, your mission—I’m done. No bitterness. Just moving on. I’ll keep creating with people who respect the time, energy, and passion I bring.
