This little lady came into my Albany County newborn photography studio with very clear opinions from the very start 😂🤍
She was all smiles when she was happy and had absolutely zero interest in being unswaddled. Cozy, warm, and wrapped up tight was her preference and we respected every single second of it 🤍
But here is the thing about baby led sessions. We always find a way. With a little patience and perfect timing we managed to get this sweet girl into the most adorable outfit for some beautiful family portraits with mom and dad and the result was absolutely everything 😭✨
This is exactly why I never stress about what a baby will or will not do during a session. Every baby has their own personality and their own preferences and my job is simply to follow their lead and create something beautiful no matter what 🤍

Finally getting around to sharing more of sweet Rowan and I am so glad I did because these images 😭🤍

This baby girl and her family hold such a special place in my heart. From the very beginning they have trusted me to document this beautiful season and Rowan will be coming back into my Albany County studio every few months for updated photos as she grows 🌸
And she will grow. Fast. They always do 😭✨
That is exactly why these sessions matter so much. Because you blink and suddenly they are sitting up, then crawling, then running, and the tiny sleepy newborn version of them feels like a distant dream.

There is something so incredibly special about an outdoor family session right here on my private studio property in Albany County 🌿🤍

No public parks. No crowded locations. Just a beautiful private piece of land that is exclusively available to my families for their sessions. Something truly unique that I am so proud to be able to offer 🤍

And this particular family makes my heart so incredibly full. I have been photographing their babies since big sister was just a brand new newborn and now here she is with her little brother beside her, growing up right before my eyes 😭✨

This is what years of building relationships with families looks like. Two years, four years, six years and beyond. Watching your children grow, your family expand, and being trusted to document every single chapter along the way is the greatest privilege of this job 🤍

This week we are featuring Succulent, a soft earthy sage green that is giving the most beautiful natural organic energy inside my Albany County photography studio ✨

And this little lady was an absolute dream for her very first professional studio session ever 😭🤍

First time in a studio. First time in front of a professional camera. And she walked in and acted like she had been doing this her whole entire life. Happy, smiley, and so incredibly photogenic that I had the hardest time narrowing down her gallery because almost every single shot was perfection 😂✨

Succulent is soft, earthy, and timeless and this sweet girl wore it beautifully 🌿🤍
