If you would’ve asked me when I was little what I wanted to be when I grew up… I probably would’ve said a welder 👩🏼‍🏭 ….while holding a purse and wearing heels 😂

While my dreams have changed over time… being an entrepreneur never did. That was always there. ❤️ I couldn’t wait to own a business “just like mom and dad”.

Yesterday, I pushed myself to create a reel for my .sd grant submission and it wasn’t easy 💁🏼‍♀️ (I’m not great at that kind of thing 😜)

But I couldn’t help and think about my younger self… who had no idea the life God had planned for her.

The version of me who would be so proud to know that I now get to give people something I didn’t have… portraits with the people they love most.

Since I first started photography, I’ve always said… “one day I want to travel and capture family photos”
“one day I want to photograph as many families as I possibly can”

And somehow… this became the answer. 💗

Whitewall Loft has made it possible to capture portraits of loved ones together at a much larger scale than I ever could before.

To my younger self who was so sure we’d be a welder… 👩🏼‍🏭 our dreams changed, but we’re slowly healing the 12-year-old, who freshly lost her mom, one family photo at a time.

Cheers to never giving up on your dreams. ❤️

Women & Co. Grant Submission 🤍

Whitewall Loft was built from my love for family photos and wedding days. It creates a way to capture portraits with loved ones at a larger scale, which has been a dream of mine for a long time. 🥰

I know how important photos are because I lost both of my parents young 🤍

Our first Black and White Portrait Event was so fun! We laughed, we chatted about this new service, we worked for those little ones to smile 😜

Most of all it was fun to have my team in one place + do some additional training, because fine-tuning never ends!

We’ve been working so hard to perfect things on the back end, but here’s what I spent the day thinking about, “This is only the beginning of finally being able to offer portraits of loved ones together at a LARGE scale” 💗 That’s what the dream is all about.

🔥 If you missed yesterday than you truly missed out!

We are literally so excited for wedding season we decided to do a fun pop-up event and welcome the community to come see what Whitewall Loft is all about! 🥰 👉🏼 It’s the FIRST on-site portrait station to hit the Black Hills wedding industry and we are PUMPED 🥂

Next weekend we are at the Black Hills vendor prom and we are excited 🤩

If you’re wanting to level up your photobooth at your wedding reception, consider a portrait station. This weekend we used Sayer JaDin Photography’s studio, but we have a mobile setup (and onsite editor, photographer and unlimited prints). It’s the BEST wedding favor you could possibly give your clients!
