I had an honor of being a part of a surprise engagement of Colton and Emma! That's a 100% photographer's bucket list check.

Colton contacted me a couple of weeks before the picture day and I could tell right away he was nervous! Little did he know, he stumbled upon the perfect photographer for his plan! Because when he said "surprise engagement" my internal excited voice just screamed "SAY LESS!".

Of course I will play along and pretend to be whatever you need me to be, from a random wildlife photographer, to an old family friend, to anything you can imagine so SHE doesn't suspect a thing.

He pulled it off perfectly. Emma's smile was the best reward. Happy wedding planning, love birds! Thank you for trusting me with this precious memory.

BTW, these purple flowers are EVERYWHERE right now. As well as wild roses and yellow dainty ones. And in a few weeks the Hills will be white with chamomile and daisies!

As a professional photographer and a mom of 3 (with a fresh baby who arrived last August) I completely understand that there is no way to know exactly when the baby comes. For that reason I offer flexible date for you Fresh 48 session! As well as a bundling discount when you book 4 services: maternity, Fresh 48, Half way there (6 months old) and Fisrt Birthday (cake smash if you like)!
