Meet Ava! 🥁🌼

Between pep band, jazz band, marching band, drum line, and basically any opportunity to keep a beat, she is a true rhythmic queen!

So naturally, when it came time for her senior session, she had two requests: her marimba and wildflowers.🥁🌸

And honestly? A girl who can go from absolutely crushing it on the marimba to frolicking through a field of wildflowers is exactly the kind of senior I want to photograph. 🤍

And one of my favorite parts? Getting to photograph another senior session for this family! There is something so special about watching these kids grow up and getting to document these milestones along the way. What an honor it is to be invited back again and again. 🥹

Ava, you are one talented, joyful, wonderfully unique girl—and I had the BEST time capturing you! ✨

Shout out to her dad and little sister who ran that marimba down the road to a pretty ditch for us!

Meet Carter! Hailing from Minnesota but slaying his senior session in South Dakota! It was such a sweet time getting to know him and his parents as we wandered Spearfish Canyon together.

He enjoys just about any sport you can throw his way, from baseball and football to golf and a little pickleball with friends.

He’s the first born and the first to walk all of the senior year things. Pray for his sweet mama because the firsts and lasts are always bittersweet!

Beautiful like wild flowers but fierce like wild horses. This girl didn’t know when to quit, and she brought some fun style along too!

Vacation is the best place for family photos, because everyone is relaxed and happy. This sweet mamas three adult sons and three grandsons might not have been excited for photos, but they survived, and I'd say they'll be thankful they suffered through this one someday! 😉
