As you can tell from today’s video of Erik’s Firebird Build, I have absolutely no clue what I am doing. We’re working on a budget and figuring it out as we go. I did, however, do some much-needed research on setting up the Restoration Rotisserie frame with a little help from Redline Engineering’s 3000lbs. Automotive Rotisserie Gear Drive Kit. I felt like this was a much better step in the right direction by using this kit, although it meant starting over with my initial idea. With a little help from Ricardo, we worked out a plan to adapt the Gear Drive Kit to my homemade Rotisserie Frame. Definitely a much better plan this time around. So here we are, going back to square one, and I sure hope it works this time.

The time has finally come.
After six plus years we’re finally going to revamp the drivetrain to Ronnie’s 1968 Mustang. Tomorrow we go Live on YouTube and see exactly what has been haunting this Classic Mustang. I have a good hunch on what it’s going to take to once again get Ronnie’s Mustang back on the road. Who wants to make a bet on what is really wrong with the Hot Pink 302 V8 Small Block ? Or is it more likely C4 Transmission related?

It has been a while since I’ve shared the progress of Erik’s Firebird Build. We have successfully mounted the Firebirds car body on the rotisserie frame. Now the real work begins.
