Been a while since I posted on this page. Let’s be real after my original profile of 15 years was banned for political posts making me have to remake my professional page and everything all over, I kinda got defeated. Stopped posting. I also stopped taking photos.
The big storm was really my last adventure.
Things on the personal level took a turn in November
Then December hit and I lost my mom unexpectedly and the depression kicked in harder. Simply because most my adventures/posts were for her. She never really got to explore and get out as working my aunts store became her life. So I started recording everything so she could experience an see so much. She was why I would record full length trail walks so she could enjoy places like the Hoh and Grand Canyon from her chair every night. She loved my photography so much she even was selling it in the store 🩷
It’s hard finding that drive and energy now to go out and find the beauty in life when I don’t have her to share it with and really folks outside my bubble don’t really care and my bubble is very small 🫧
Then more things on the personal came around as 2026 continues so it’s all just been hits over and over.
Pulling out my camera to record the beauty just isn’t there anymore, and I used to record everything.
The pull to just run away into a van and live the nomad life working part time seasonal jobs is starting to come at me more. Always been a dream of mine. The other half’s issues is having 3 cats in a van 🤣

Who knows where 2026 is going to end up cause I sure didn’t expect 2025 to go the way it did.

Nature’s time capsule — trees turned to stone, frozen in color and crystal for over 200 million years. 🌈🪵✨
The Petrified Forest feels like walking through ancient magic, where earth and time meet to tell their stories.

There’s something magical about an open desert road — endless sky above, colors layered in stone, and the quiet hum of freedom stretching out ahead. 🌵✨
The Painted Desert never disappoints — every mile feels like stepping into another world.

I ended up being stuck in the microburst that had 70+ mph winds in Tempe Arizona. The beginning of it sounded like a jet plane taking off.
